Welcome!
Lilleküla commando is located in Tallinn in Kristiine district, with the covering area from Muraste to Toompea and from Tondi to Kalamaja, but when there are accidents with higher priority then Lilleküla engines drive even further.
Lilleküla commando has a long and rich history – commando was founded in 1932 with just nine workers. Commando had a Opel-Blitz tanker and a Benz-Gaggenau pump car. Nowadays, Lilleküla commando is detachment of the North-Estonian Rescue Centre. Commando has 54 firemen and as of machine park – we have two fire engines, one reserv engine and an aerial ladder Bronto Skylift (54 m). Also we have chemical accidents equipment.
Our commando solves different problems which may endanger life and assets (traffic accidents, collapsed buildings, fires etc) pluss environmental rescueworks (such as forest fires, contaminated beaches, oil spills etc). Lilleküla commando is also in constant preparedness for chemical accidents.
Our web site reflects our doings and events through photo material and different memos in calendar. It also provides useful information about our history and contacts.
Don’t forget to speak out in our forum – give us advice, call us for visits to your kindergarden or school, involve us in the public activities of the district where we can present our work and equipment to the youth and maybe pump some interest in them.
